Keep directory structure

Check this field if the imported program should be placed in a sub-directory of the machine base directory, if found in a sub-directory of the import directory.

Associated files in the same directory

Check this field if files in are imported through a sub-directory of the import directory, and they should be associated with the program that is stored NC-Base in a sub-directory with the same name.

param

Place files on import queue

Check this field if auto imported programs should be placed on the import queue.

param

Use folder as program name

Check this field to use the folder name as program name in ncbase.

If a sub-directory containing a program already exists in the machine base directory, the name of the program in that sub-directory will be used instead.

param

Extension

Use this field to specify the extension(s) of programs that should be imported.

To specify multiple extensions separate them with a comma.

Use this field to specify the auto import directory for the selected machine.

param

Memo File extension

Use this field to specify the extension of memo files that should be inserted into the database.

The filename must be the program name with the specified extension.

Example: To add a memo file to the program 123-4567, the filename must be '123-4567.TXT' if you have specified 'TXT' in this field.

If there are multiple programs for this machine, with the program name 123-4567, the file will be added to all of them.

To specify multiple extensions separate them with a comma.

Using the wildcards * and ? is supported.

Check 'Required Fields'

Check this field if auto-import should check if all fields marked as required must be specified in the imported program.

If one or more fields are missing and file called 'Filename'.Error is created in the auto-import directory containing a list of the missing fields.

Create main program using folder name with specified extension

Specify an extension for file that will be created (if does not exist in ncbase) using folder name.

All other files will be associated to the created file as sub-programs.

param

Wait for associated files (secs)

Use this field to specify how long DNC-Max should wait for the associated files after receiving the main program. If the control saves the associated files at the same time as the main program you can specify a low value like 3 secs here, but if the operator has to manually copy each associated file you will need to specify a value that is high enough so the operator has time to copy all files.
