ISO Transfer

Use this dialog to configure ISO transfer related options.

Note: These fields are only enabled if ISO Transfer is enabled on the General options setup sheet. For further information, please refer to [LINK:pcfg_mazak_port] and [LINK:pcfg_mazak].

Transmit settings

Number of ASCII 0 to send

Use this field to specify the number of ASCII 0 characters that the DNC server should send before starting an ISO transfer. The number of ASCII 0 characters must match the setting on the CNC.

Number of lines to delay (0=All)

Use this field to specify how many lines should be delayed.

Old Mazak controls require delays on all lines, but newer controls only require a delaying on the first few lines.

Specify 0 to delay all lines.

Delay between characters (ms)

Use this field to specify the delay in ms. that should be inserted between each character send.

Delay before each line (ms)

Here you can specify how long the DNC should wait before it starts transmitting a new line.

Receive settings

Disable file receive

Check this field to disable transmission of files from the CNC to the DNC server. This will prevent the operator from accidentally overwriting files on the server.

Save in sub-directories

Check this field to allow sub-directories to be specified in the program name.

When a subdirectory is specified, the received file is saved in that sub-directory.

Example: O1234 (THESHOP/HANDLE.NC)

Look for ISO programs in disk dir.

Check this field if DNC-Max should search for remote requested ISO files in the current disk directory.

Save ISO programs in disk dir.

Check this field if DNC-Max should save received ISO files in the current disk directory.

Replace if found in request directories

Check this field to replace existing files when a program is received. If the program received is not found in any of the directories specified on the 'Request directories' sheet, the program will be stored in the directory specified below.

Use this field to specify where auto received ISO files should be saved.

Use this dialog to configure settings related to ISO program transfer.

Auto create directories

Check this field to auto create the specified directories when the server is started.

Failed transfers

Save failed transfers

Check this field if you want to save failed transfers. Failed transfers occurs if the program/file name of an auto received file could not be determined, and no remote request triggered was found.

Failed transfers to keep

Specify the number of failed transfers to keep. Failed transfers are named FAILED_$PORTNAME.xxx. The file with the largest 'xxx' value is the latest failed transfer.
