Lyngby, DENMARK, July 6, 2005 - CIMCO Integration I/S have added a new application to their line of proven software products for CNC communications, CNC program management, and CNC program editing.

CIMCO CNC-Calc 2 is a fast and cost-effective solution for solving problems with complex 2D geometry. It comes as an add-on to CIMCO Edit 5 and works as an integrated part of the Editor environment. CIMCO CNC-Calc 2 reduces the time spend on complex or trivial geometric calculations with its fast and easy approach to drawing contours or laying out toolpaths. Geometrical drawings can be converted into NC-code with a few mouse-clicks.

CIMCO CNC-Calc 2 comes with a comprehensive amount of functionality such as the plain "horizontal line" to the complex "circle tangent to three  elements". It includes advanced trimming options and a simple point and click approach to laying out toolpaths and drill cycles. It imports AutoCAD DXF files and generates toolpaths, drill patterns for ISO and Heidenhain conversational programming. Other features include automatic generation of configurable lead in/out containing lines and arcs.
