Lyngby, DENMARK, Sept 16, 2005 -
CIMCO Integration I/S has released the latest version of CIMCO Edit with a
totally redesigned and powerful new backplotting interface.
Edit 5.1 now supports solid visualization, currently for
milling programs, to assist CNC programs in visually inspecting CNC
toolpaths before they are sent to CNC machines. The
solid visualization supports fully configurable tool and stock
configuration. Additionally, the new backplotter integrates the already powerful
wireframe backplotting capabilities with the new solid visualization
features - giving CNC programmers a comprehensive tool for reviewing
toolpaths.
The new backplotter also supports both 4 and 5
Axis machine types.
