Lyngby, DENMARK, October 4, 2005 - With the release of CIMCO Edit 5.1 the support for Heidenhain Conversational code has been incorporated into the editor and its backplotter. This means that creating, editing and simulating Heidenhain code can now be done easier, faster, safer and with the full power of CIMCO Edit 5 at hand.

The new backplotter in CIMCO Edit 5.1 supports solid visualization, currently for milling programs, to assist CNC programs in visually inspecting CNC toolpaths before they are sent to CNC machines. The solid visualization supports fully configurable tool and stock configuration. Additionally, the new backplotter integrates the already powerful wireframe backplotting capabilities with the new solid visualization features - giving CNC programmers a comprehensive tool for reviewing toolpaths.
