POWERCUT is a software product for rapid and accurate NC program
simulation and verification. It processes NC programs and CL-data
from leading CAD/CAM systems. The resulting model can be examined in order to identify and
correct possible programming errors.
Technology
POWERCUT is based on a verification method designed to quickly
process very large NC programs. It is of the utmost importance for the mold and
die industry where larger NC programs are common.

Zoom Users can zoom and rotate
the finished part with unsurpassed speed with no loss of accuracy.
OpenGL Powercut takes advantage of solid-based technology
as well as OpenGL hardware acceleration to give the state of the art performance
in graphics.
Multiple Windows Powercut allows the machined part to be
shown in multiple windows, each with a different view of the part. The part
images are of very high quality, and the user can control shading, material, and
other visual effects.
Machine Translators
Powercut processes NC programs from various machine controllers like Fanuc,
Okuma, Grundig, Heidenhain, Phillips, Siemens and more.
Translators for APT and Mastercam NCI are also available.
Hardware Requirements
A Pentium PC with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows
95/98. A screen display capable of more than 256
colors.
