changes to programs files, and allows the user to compare/restore older versions

New predefined 'Change Comments', allows the
user to add additional information to the program log
Status system New status system tracks programs through a 'Running
in'/'Checked'/'Approved' cycle.
Approved folder
NC-Base can now 'mirror' the NC-Programs in an
'Approved folder', so even if the user changes an NC-File, the last approved
version is always available
Multiple imports
The import queue can now hold multiple
versions of the same program, and the manager can decide which version to
accept
Operator notification
The operator can now be notified when a
program has been imported, needs to be checked etc
Automatically expire
imports The system can now automatically
expire files on the import queue, if they haven't been accepted within a
specified time
Complete system backup
A complete system backup can be
generated/restored from the database maintenance section. The backup is a single
compressed file containing both the database tables, NC programs and associated
files.
Automatic change of base
directory If the base directory is changed all
NC programs and associated files are automatically moved to the new location
Automatic generation of
tool lists NC-Base can now scan the NC program
and extract tooling information, including comments etc. and generate a tool
list that is automatically associated with new programs
Manually receive files
In addition to manually sending files from the
NC-Base client, operators can now also manually receive files from those
controls that doesn't support auto receive
Machine specific
maintenance functions. It is now possible to
run backup purge operations etc. for a specific machine
New server application
The new NC-Base server now supports
automatically updating the database version when a new version is detected.
New backup server
Automated daily backups of both the database
and files using the new NC-Base Backup Server, including E-mail notifications to
system administrators if the backup fails.
Improved machine
configuration NC-Base now supports specifying
default directories for adding programs and associated files. An editor file
type (colors/file compare/backplot settings etc.) can be associated to each
machine, and adding new file types based on NC-Base machines is very easy.
Editor configuration stored
in the database Editor file type information,
including colors, file compare, back plot and macro settings can now be stored
in the database, making central administration much simpler.

loading of both NC-Files and jpeg/bmp files
