Traditional / cabled network

DNC-Networking using traditional cabling based on RS-232. Typical using a PC with a Multiport communications card installed and connected to one or more CNC machines. Read more.

Ethernet network

DNC-Networking using standard ethernet technology. Standard ethernet cabling used in the entire shop floor terminated with a device server (ethernet/RS-232 converter) at each machine. Typical one device server per machine or machine group. Read more.
