Support and Technician

CIMCO Americas is looking for individuals to support and install software designed for manufacturing shop floor NC program transfer, NC file management, and manufacturing data collection.

Job Description

Provide sales, service, and support assistance as part of the CIMCO Global Team including the following:

  • Perform pre-sales and sales activities including online demonstrations, on-site visits, presentations, and walk-throughs, quoting, and invoicing for direct sales, fee-based support, and service activities.
  • Software testing
  • Provide support to end-users via internet, telephone and email.
  • Perform on-site services including installation, device configuration, cable configuration, training, system testing and troubleshooting on an as-needed basis
  • Produce and organize product documentation
  • Provide support and service assistance to resellers and co-workers around the world.
  • Assist at industry trade shows
  • Provide sales, service, and support assistance as part of the CIMCO Global Team.
  • Reseller training and assistance
  • Create specifications for CIMCO developers for new software capabilities as needed by customers. Potentially develop software functionality if skill set allows.

We are looking for individuals with a background in engineering, CNC programming and information technologies. Software development ability and familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB/MSSQL would be advantageous but not necessary. Familiarity with Crystal Reports may also be helpful. The individual must have excellent troubleshooting skills, must be able to communicate with and work well with others and work well independently. Travel throughout the US and a valid driver’s license is necessary. Can work remotely.
