Split Screen Coming to MDC-Max Web Client

The MDC-Max Web Client is getting a highly requested feature — Split Screen.

Split Screen allows you to display two MDC screens side by side in the web client. You can combine any set of screens, such as an Operator Screen and a Machine Dashboard, or any other combination that suits your needs.

How it works

1. Select the screen you want to display on the left side.
2. Click the Split Screen icon next to the menu icon at the top — this will split the screen.
3. Use the sidebar menu again, but this time to select the screen you want on the right side. When selecting a screen, you’ll see an additional menu where you can choose which side to display it on.
4. Use the icons at the top to show or hide the left and right split. You can also drag the divider to resize the screens.
5. Each Split Screen has a unique URL, allowing you to create shortcuts that open a specific Split Screen setup directly.

Split Screen is scheduled to be included in the next release of CIMCO Software.
