Messaging

Use this dialog to configure settings related to messaging.

Port group

Use this field to specify the port group. The port group can be used to group ports in exported logs.

Operator

Enable operator login

Check this field to enable operator login. The name of the current operator is stored in $OPERATOR, and can be used with log ex-porting and/or e-mail / sms messaging.

Enable events/messages

Check this field to enable operator messages. Operator messages are defined in the server configuration.

Operator login trigger

Use this field to specify the operator login trigger.

Example: If you specify the login trigger '/LI', ands send in a program with the following string (/LI JOHN), DNC-Max will change the current operator to 'JOHN'.

Operator login reserved name

Use this field to specify a reserved name for login programs. To specify multiple program, separate them with commas.

Example: 8001, 8002

Must be in comment

Check this field if the specified trigger must be inside a comment (comment delimiters are specified on the 'Machine type' setup sheet).

This option is ignored if the trigger is specified using the advanced format.

Log entry types

Log end receive (CNC -> DNC)

Check this field to add an entry to the log when a transfer from the CNC to the DNC ends.

Log error messages

Check this field to add an entry to the log when a error log entry is added.

Log info messages

Check this field to add an entry to the log when a info log entry is added.

Log operator messages

Check this field to add an entry to the log when an operator message is received. Operator messages, are messages stored in the log file by the operator.
