E-Mail / SMS settings dialog

Enable E-mail / SMS notifications

Check this field to enable E-Mail notifications.

Use NC-Base Users/Groups

Check this field to use NC-Base Users/Groups settings to distribute e-mail.

Mail Server (SMTP)

Use this field to specify the name of the mail server that should be used.

The mail server must support SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).

Server port (SMTP)

Use this field to specify the server SMTP port. Most SMTP servers uses port 25.

Server authentication

Select the authentication type used by the mail server from this list.

Most SMTP servers do not require authentication.

User ID

Use this field to specify the SMTP User ID.

This is often the same User ID as you POP User ID used to receive e-mails.

Password

Use this field to specify the SMTP password.

This is often the same password as you POP password used to receive e-mails.

E-Mail addresses / Mobile numbers

Use this field to specify the address of people in this group. To specify multiple recipients separate them with a comma. If you do not specify a domain name (the part of the E-Mail address after the @), the domain address specified in the 'Primary mail domain' field is used.

Example: If you specify 'alice, bob, alice, bob, charlie@my.net' mails are sent to alice@mail.company.com, bob@mail.company.com and charlie@my.net.

When sending SMS messages, specify the phone number.

Some modems requires that the phone number is specified with the country code, ex. '+44 123456789'.
