Copy header from existing program to manually received files

Check this field to enable 'Header Transfer'. Header transfer is used to transfer a header from an existing file, to a received file.

Example: If you store and tool information at the beginning of all your files, but this information is not sent to the control, then once you receive the program back, this information will be lost. Header Transfer allows you to retain this information, by automatically copying the header from the existing file to the received file.

Header ends a line

Use this field to specify the last line to be included in the header.

If you specify an end-trigger in the field below, and the end-trigger is found before the line number specified here, this value is ignored.

Header end trigger

Use this field to specify the header end trigger.

If no end-trigger is found before reaching the line specified in the 'Header ends a line' field above, DNC-Max will stop scanning, and use the value specified above as the end of header.

Ignore inside comments

Trigger location

Use this field to specify if the line containing the end trigger is part of the header.

End a line containing trigger: The end trigger is last line in header.

End a line before trigger : The end trigger is at the first line in the program.

Include lines before/after start trigger

Use this field to specify additional lines to include after the end-trigger.

You can also specify a negative value, if the header ends before the line containing the end trigger.

Header starts at line

Use this field to specify the first line to include in the header.

Example: If the header starts at line 5, the header will be inserted into the received file after line 4.

Header start trigger

Use this field to specify the header start trigger.

If you have specified a value greater than 1 in the 'Header starts at line', DNC-Max will skip the amount of lines specified before looking for the start trigger.

Example: If the header starts at line 5, the header will be inserted into the received file after line 4.

Check this field to ignore the start trigger inside comments.

Use this field to specify if the line containing the start trigger is part of the header.

Include lines before/after start trigger

Use this field to specify how many lines after the start-trigger that the header begins.

You can also specify a negative value, if the header starts before the line containing the start trigger.

Use this field to specify the minimum header length.

Maximum header length

Use this field to specify the maximum header length.

Always get header from ext(s)

Use this field to specify one or more extensions that should be scanned if for the header.

You can specify multiple extensions by separating them with commas.

To allow all files without an extension specify a comma at the start.

Example: If the file MOULD.NC is received, and MOULD.PRO exists on the server, the the header will can be transferred from MOULD.PRO if you specify PRO in this field.

Use this field to specify one or more extensions that should be scanned if no previous file exists.

You can specify multiple extensions by separating them with commas.
