Cutting speed for rotating tool is the speed that the periphery of the tool in meter/min as it acts on the material being machined.

Cutting Speed = Peripheral Speed
Cutting Speed is measured in M/Min

Cutting speed formula:
n = revolutions/min (rpm)
D = diameter of the tool (mm)
Vc = cutting speed (m/min)



Feedrate = rpm * number of teeth * cut depth/tooth
