Allow users to re-start ports

Check this field to allow users without administrator privileges to restart ports.

Never connect to remote servers

Check this field if you do not wish to administrate remote servers from this client.

Start maximized

Select this option to make the program start maximized.

Show links in log

Check this field to show links to files in the port log.

Double click to open links

Check this field to open file links with a double click.

Double click to configure ports

Check this field to allow administrators to configure port by double clicking in the port list.

Share settings between all users

Check this field to share the editor settings between all users.

All users must have read/write access to the program directory.

If a user does not have read/write access to the program directory this option is disabled.

Hide all send/receive functions

Check this field to disable all Send/Receive functions

Always show 'All Files' in file dialogs

Select this option to show 'All Files' by default.

Always start in 'root' directory

Select this option to open file dialogs in the 'root' directory.

I.e. Send operations will default to $SENDROOT, and receive operations will default to $RECVROOT.

Keep file dialog open after edit

Check this field to keep the file dialog open when launching the editor.

Allow users to send 'Local Files'

Check this field to allow operators to send 'local files', i.e. files stored on the client PC.

When sending a local file, the client will send a copy of the file to the DNC-Max server, and the DNC-Max server will send that file to the CNC. When the file has been transmitted, the server deletes it's copy of the file.

Use NC-Base logins

Check this field to use NC-Base logins.

Show only ports allowed by NC-Base

Check this field if the port list should only list ports that the logged in user has permissions to in NC-Base

Auto logon when client is started

Check this field to auto logon when the client is started.

To use this feature, the user must click 'Remember Password' on the NC-Base login dialog.

Confirm overwrite file

Check this field to show a confirmation dialog when manually selecting to receive an existing file.

Select application theme

Use this combo box to select theme for the application.

Select language

Select a new language from this list.

Fixed DNC-Max server name/address

Use this field to specify a fixed DNC-Max server name.

When a fixed server name is specified the client will not attempt to connect to any other servers.

To specify multiple servers separate them with commas.
