This section describes the setup and use of the Logging parameters.
To configure Logging settings, select 
Setup in the Administration menu, or click the Setup dialog launch icon 
in the Database menu. Then click on Server Settings in the left window of the CIMCO NC-Base Configuration dialog and select Logging. The following window appears:

Check this field to disable the log facility.
Check this field to disable Change Comments. Change Comments allows users to manually add comments to the log.
Check this field to disable the Log Prompts. When Log Prompts are enabled, the operator is prompted to specify the reason why an operation was performed.
Example: If a program file backup is restored, the operator must specify why he restored the backup.
Check this field to disable the Status System.

The Status System allows operators to set the status of a program/file to: Running In, Ready, Checked or Approved. |
Check this field to disable the Running In status.
Check this field to disable the Ready status.
Check this field if programs should be unlocked when the status is changed to Ready.
Check this field if programs should be marked as Read-Only when the status is changed to Ready.
Check this field if it should be allowed to mark programs as Ready if they are not marked Running In.
Check this field to disable the Updating status.
Check this field to disable the Checking state.

When Checking is disabled, parts marked as Ready cannot be marked as Checked before they are approved. |
Check this field if programs should be unlocked when the status is changed to Checked.
Check this field if programs should be marked as Read-Only when the status is changed to Checked.
Check this field if it should be allowed to mark programs as Checked if they are not marked Ready.
Check this field to lock programs when setting status Check Failed.
Check this field to set the program Read/Write when marked Check Failed.
Check this field to disable the transfer limit count when the status is changed to Checked.
Check this field to disable the Approval Failed status.
Check this field if programs should be un-locked when the status is changed to Approved.
Check this field if programs should be marked as Read-Only when the status is changed to Approved.
Check this field to disable the transfer limit count when the status is changed to Approved.
Check this field if it should be allowed to mark programs as Approved if they are not marked Checked and/or Ready.
Check this field to lock programs when setting status Approval Failed.
Check this field to confirm status changes.
Check this field if the operator should not be allowed to change the program status, if the program is marked as Read-Only.

If the operator has permission to mark a program as Read/Write, this field is ignored. |
Check this field if log information should not be added until the program has been Checked or Approved once.
Check this field if version information/backups should not be created until the program has been Checked or Approved once.
Check this field if a new version should not be created when adding a change comment.
Check this field if a new version should not be created when changing the program status.
Check this field to use only Updated/Imported/Approved status states.
Check this field to set the transfer limit count to 1 when status is changed to Updating.
