Display of Active NC Lines in Subprograms
With CIMCO Edit 2025, you can now view the active NC code lines inside subprograms directly during simulation.
As the simulation runs, each executing NC line within the subprogram is displayed and highlighted step by step in the code view. When the simulation enters a subprogram, CIMCO Edit automatically locates the correct file and shows exactly which line is being executed. This provides clear insight into the running code and makes it easier to review and verify programs that use internal or external subprogram calls.
You can try the functionality yourself:
Step 1:
Simulate the sample file located in:
\CIMCOEdit\Samples\Fanuc 30i-31i-32i M Series\MillParts\Tombstone_Horizontal_4_Axis_External_Sub_Program.NC
Step 2:
Select Fanuc Milling
Step 3:
Select the CIMCO Horizontal Mill 4 Axis Table B machine (or equivalent)
During simulation, you will see how active NC lines inside subprograms are automatically displayed and highlighted.
Displaying the active line inside subprograms is also supported in the .CimcoSimData Presentation Viewer when using CIMCO Edit Professional version 2025.01.28 or later.
